Living Our Purpose
More than aspirational, Beyond Green is the embodiment of aspiration put into practice. Our members are subject to a rigorous vetting process, based on globally recognized sustainable tourism standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Every two years, they undergo an on-site evaluation, based upon more than 50 sustainability indicators (see an overview of inspection criteria here). All Beyond Green members have eliminated single-use plastic water bottles on property, actively work to reduce their carbon footprint, and embrace new technologies ranging from renewable energy to water recycling, while also actively supporting wildlife conservation and ecosystem restoration.
We make it our mission to partner with local and international conservation groups to advance the protection of our global natural heritage. This includes funding and in-kind contributions to restore and protect natural habitat, from forests to savannahs, and from oceans to mountains.
